My Story:

Welcome to Thistle & Nest, a place where handmade necklaces and surprise gifts are crafted with intention. I'm thrilled to share my journey with you.

Hi! My name is Sarah White and I’m a wife and homeschool mom to three incredible kids, Martie 10, Jensen 8, and Jett 2. I’m a lover of quiet mornings (although I don’t always get that having said kids 😆) and someone who finds beauty in simple things. Our days are often filled with books scattered across the table, bread rising in the kitchen, piano lessons, and lots of love and chaos in between. 

To me, home is meant to feel like a nest — a place of comfort, protection, and rest from the outside world. It’s where my children learn, where we gather around the table, where prayers are said, and where love is woven into the ordinary moments of everyday life.

My faith in God is at the center of everything I do. It guides how I raise my children, how I care for my home, and how I create. During a difficult season of life, jewelry making became a quiet and healing space for me — a way to slow down, and create something beautiful with my hands. 

Every piece I make or place in a nest, is done with intentional care, prayer, and gratitude for the gifts God has placed in my own life.

Every woman deserves a place — and a reminder — that she is safe, seen, and deeply loved. That even in life’s storms, there is still softness, still strength, and still beauty.
